The concept submission for the first ANIMATION TALENT AWARD (ATA) is completed! We received more than 200 registrations and applications from all over the world. Due to the recent flood in Germany with serious consequences, the organisers had to move into another office. Because of the delay, upcoming new deadlines for the competition are announced. The new date for the publication of the jury’s decision is June 30. The production deadline for the selected projects is postponed accordingly. The animated shorts have to be submitted until October 15, instead of September 30.

Die International Academy of Media and Arts (IAMA) ist Schnittstelle zwischen Medien-Ausbildung und Medien-Wirtschaft und vernetzt in beide Richtungen. Kernaufgabe der Academy ist die Förderung und Weiterbildung von kreativem Nachwuchs, der praktische, auf die Branche zugeschnittene Fähigkeiten entwickelt und trainiert. Projektschwerpunkte sind die European Animation Masterclass und die Filmmusiktage Sachsen-Anhalt.
Die Academy ist europäisch ausgerichtet und stärkt den Medienstandort Halle/Mitteldeutschland. Sie bündelt kreatives Potenzial aus der Region und aus ganz Europa. Spitzentalente aus dem Animationsbereich sollen sich zukünftig verstärkt in ansässigen Unternehmen verwirklichen oder eigene Firmen im Umfeld gründen.
