Mike Robinson (Host)

Mike Robinson was born in the UK. After working in managing positions at the Manchester Library Theatre Company and at Cosgrove Hall productions, he sat up his own animation consultancy in 1992. He was one of the founder members of The British Animation Training Scheme (BATS); he is a moderator for several Cartoon events and is invited to conduct animation seminars on many business aspects of animation production.

Christophe Erbes

Christophe Erbes was born in France. He worked for Canal+ International in Paris, for PREMIERE in Germany and as Head of Programmes at S-RTL / Disney Germany.

After being Head of Programmes and Deputy Managing Director of NICKELODEON Germany, he was Managing Director at Fox Kids / Jetix in Madrid, London and Munich. He is a Member of the Board of the German kids films support association. Under pseudonym, he is a published kids' books author and a script writer.

Eckart Fingberg

Eckart Fingberg (Hamburg, Germany) has been involved with a number of successful German animated feature films and TV series such as “Werner – Das muss kesseln” (anmiation supervisor, storyboard), “Der kleine Ritter Trenk” (director, head author ) or “Das kleine Arschloch” (director). For the latter he has won the “Filmpreis Goldene Leinwand”. Fingberg lectures design and story development at the Animation School Hamburg and is a guest lecturer at other institutions and workshops.

David Gerson

David Gerson (USA) is the managing director of InterTitle Films GmbH in Berlin.

He worked his way through the studio system at Focus Features from it's inception for seven years, and served as a Vice President of Production in New York. Among others, he was involved in developing and shepherding the animation feature 9, ON A CLEAR DAY, MILK, AWAY WE GO, RESERVATION ROAD. One of his upcoming productions is KIND REGARDS FROM KINDERGARDEN by Adam Kline.

Nicole Keeb

Nicole Keeb (Mainz, Germany) studied film (and sculpture and history) at the “Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste” in Braunschweig/ Germany. After finishing her Masterstudies, she worked for pubcaster WDR on the “Show with the Mouse”. Then she was hired by Premiere (Germany's leading pay tv channel), where she promoted to be head of the children's department. Today Nicole Keeb is working for ZDF as Head of International Coproductions, Development and Acquisitions.

Joan Lofts

Joan Lofts was appointed Director of Television at Contender Entertainment Group in 2001 after a long term career in television. She was responsible for developing and overseeing the television production division. Recent animated hits include “Tractor Tom”, “Peppa Pig”, “Humf”, “Little Kingdom” and a special for Channel 4 “Lost and Found”. Lofts is now semi retired but is still keeping her hand in with individual projects and mentoring opportunities.

Arne Lohmann

After his law studies in Germany, Italy and the U.S. Arne Lohmann joined ZDF E, the commercial arm of German pubcaster ZDF, in 1997.

As Director Coproduction he is involved in strategy of acquisitions and co-production, securing the out put deals with major partners, assessing and acquiring programmes to build children's catalogue and creating the marketing for the division.

He is member of ZDF E's creative board which decides the creative direction of the company and the projects ZDF E co-produces and exploits across all platforms

Pete Reeves

Pete Reeves (Manchester, UK) has scripted “Bob the Builder” for HIT Entertainment and has written “Bob” stage shows plus full length DVDs.  For his work on “Bob the Builder” he won a finalist's certificate at the New York Animation Festival 2007. Other credits include “Timmy-Time” for Aardman Animation and “Chuggington” for Ludorum. Currently, among other works in development, he's scripting a pre-school series for Steve Walsh Productions/Epidem Zot Helsinki called “NOKSU”. Pete lectures on Scriptwriting at Salford University and at the Animation workshop, Viborg, Denmark.

Paco Rodríguez

Paco Rodríguez was born in Granada in 1958. In 1990, he founded PPM Multimedia, where he has worked in distribution, co-production, funding and as an executive producer for a decade. For Filmax Animation he has produced a number of animated feature films amongst which are El Cid: The Legend, Gisaku and Donkey.xote. Furthermore, Rodríguez acts as a consultant for the international theatrical and audiovisual sector.
