In a stadium in Rome Publius Ovidius Naso’s journey into total solitude begins; a journey to the end of the world. A mandatory salutation left out by the famous poet, the fine-tuned mechanism of the administration and a motion of Emperor Augustus’ hand lead to the banishment of Naso. Based on a scene from the novel „Die letzte Welt“ (The Last World) by Christoph Ransmayr.

Like a canvas to which everybody paints his or her ideas and desires? How would everyday life be? A walk through the city full of people? Canvas is a young woman who goes through a lot of changes until she realises that she has to change something for herself.

Norbert copes with his neuroses by running away from every- thing that scares him – in reverse gear. One day, a crow falls to his feet, dead, as usual he retreats backwards. He doesn’t get far, instead bumping into a person and coming to a stop on his coat. He’s that scared that he can neither turn around nor take a step forward. A conversation takes place between him and the unseen stranger. Luckily for Norbert, he has no idea that the stranger is none other than the Grim Reaper himself.

The two hair- dressers are rivals not only in business: They both have a crush on the same woman. Marcel plays dirty tricks on Bob to ruin his business and his love. Bob has to fight back by means of a true coiffeur.

Beneath one city criminals hide toxic waste. A boy discovers this and denounces it to the police, who turn out to be corrupt. Since he is only a boy, it seems impossible to change this situa- tion, therefore he wants to escape this place. In the end a sign of hope appears and changes his mind.
